8 Days Hidden Gems of Belize
Join us in exploring Belize’s gorgeous tropical islands and evocative ancient sites. We take you for 5 nights to laid-back Caye Caulker, which offers amazing swimming and beachcombing, and its barrier reef is a diver’s and snorkelers’ paradise. From the Caye, we can also visit the 2,000 year remains of the Maya’s Altun Ha and the 3,000 year-old site of Lamanai.
Belize continues in the Maya Mountains for 3 nights. San Ignacio offers a plethora of archeological and natural attractions in the surrounding hills. We will visit the most important ancient sites, Xunantunich and Caracol. Transfer to Belize City airport for the trip home, or to continue with us to Honduras.

The Mexican state of Oaxaca has a special magic felt by all. We spend a week at a beautiful all-inclusive beachfront resort in Huatulco. In Huatulco, we cruise the seven bays, visit the Hagia Sophia ecopark, and the ruins of ancient Copalita. The resort offers all water sports, white water rafting, spas, golf, zip lining and much, much more.
Optional extension 3 nights Oaxaca. Beautiful, colonial Oaxaca City is an elegant fascinating cultural and gastronomic hub. Dreams of Tahiti and her islands April, 2018

A graceful sailing yacht is the perfect way to experience the wonders of Tahiti. We cruise out of Papeete, Tahiti’s capital. We visit ancient temples and tikis on Huahine, Raiatea and Taha’a. Discover Moorea, the inspiration for South Pacific’s mystical Bali Hai. Drift snorkel among the coral garden of Bora Bora. Delight to local entertainment on board and celebrate at a festive beach party.
Optional extensions to the Marquesas and Rangiroa
Diving and snorkeling are the number-one activities on Rangiroa, an atoll floating on the deep blue sea. The island offers some of the best drift dives in the world, with sharks, manta rays, and countless shoals of fish. We can also watch dolphins dance in the waves or just luxuriate on the stunning beaches.
The volcanic Marquesan islands Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa offer stunning natural attractions and the best temples and tikis in the country, such as those at Hatiheu and Iipona. These islands are grand, brooding, powerful and charismatic. On Nuku Hiva, we can also swim with melon headed whales. The Marquesas are unlike the rest of Tahiti and yet most redolent with ancient Polynesian culture.
Weekend Gems of the Oregon Coast 2018:
April 20-22 Gems of the Central Oregon Coast
We arrive in Newport, Oregon, on the Pacific shore, for a welcome dinner on Friday night and we spend the night at the Hallmark Resort. In the evening, we may also attend theater at the Newport Cultural Center. Saturday morning, we visit the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area during a 0.8 ft minus tide, with great views of the Coast, an old lighthouse and the best managed tide pools on the Oregon Coast. This low tide reveals the homes of intertidal life such as sea stars, anemones, urchins, barnacles and small fish. Newport also offers great beaches, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Art Deco District, and great restaurants. In the afternoon we visit the Chinook Winds Casino for lunch and free time in Lincoln City before checking into the Inn at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City. On Sunday morning, before going home, we visit the easily accessible tide pools at Cape Kiwanda and this stunning stretch of the Oregon Coast.

June 15 to 18 Gems of the Southern Oregon Coast
Travel to Bandon via motor coach for 2 nights, with its fabulous views over your host’s favorite beach in This Friday night, we will enjoy a welcome dinner in Bandon. From the hotel, cliff top walkways offer amazing views over these beautiful beaches and the ancient First Nation icons Face Rock and Table Rock. Old Town Bandon is charming and vibrant.
Tide Pool Coquille Point in the mornings, one the best tide pool areas in Oregon. On the 17th, transfer to Port Orford. Port Orford’s beaches are wild, historic and untouristed. On the morning, enjoy the easily accessible tidepooling at Battle Rock before heading home.
