Travel Tips
How to Apply for your Passport:
Applications for new or renewal passports are available at your local Post Office. They are also available for download in .pdf format at travel.state.gov/passport/forms. For general questions and inquiries, visit travel.state.gov/travel or call toll free 1(877) 487-2778.

Form Submissions:
New applicants and children under 14 must apply in person. Passport applications made in person will be accepted at various times and locations. To look up a location near you, visit iafdb.travel.state.gov and enter your zip code.

Applicants who have had a passport within the past 15 years, and who were 16 years of age or older at the time of issuance may use a mail-in application.

You must also be sure to provide a certified copy of your birth certificate, proof of identity, 2 recent color photos, and the fees explained on your application.

Exchange Rate Notice

Some Tour company's have implemented an exchange rate adjustment.  Due to the significant devaluation of the U.S. Dollar against the EURO, this has become necessary and will apply to new bookings only.  The currency surcharge averages between 3.5% to 7%, depending on the program selected.

It is ALSO important to note that traveling on a Travel Program still remains significantly more economical than traveling on one's own.  Savings that are negotiated with companies are passed on in these packages and provide superior quality and service.

For more information and to learn about those companies that provide this service and quality - Call C.P. Trips, Inc. Professional Travel Consultants.

H1N! Update

Although the H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) has not been in the news as much, it is still an issue when traveling.  Travelers should take basic hygiene seriously (Particularly washing of hands) and they should also seek medical advise if they show signs of influenza before, during or after a trip.

Disease travels very fast (almost as fast as rumors and misinformation), our governments must take the lead on preparedness, and we must be open and factual in confronting the risk.  Fear, ignorance and distrust only up the ante in danger and damage.

Travel is considered safe with the proper caution and care.
